Jules Cycling was founded by Coach Jules Verheyen, a lifelong cyclist who started competing 15 years ago. When Jules began racing, she quickly realised there was little support for female cyclists—no mentors, no programs, and very few women on the roads. Determined to change that, she made it her mission to connect women and help more women enjoy riding bikes. Now, as a seasoned cyclist, Jules focuses on helping women, especially those going through menopause, to push through tiredness, aches, and pains and become healthier, stronger, and better versions of themselves.
Since 2013, Jules has been a leading figure in the women’s cycling community, organising a range of cycling events. As a competitive cyclist and coach, she’s led AusCycling's Zero to Hero campaign and facilitated the She Rides coaching program. Through partnerships with Trek Bicycles, Illawarra Cycle Club, IBug, and Destination Wollongong, she’s helped build a thriving cycling community in the Illawarra, coaching hundreds of women to become confident and capable riders.
